Chain knocker with hardened chains, 16mm T-Nut (5/8") by rak

The chain knocker from rak with 16mm T-Nut for drain cleaning cables is an absolute professional pipe cleaning tool. The chains of the 16mm version are made of hardened steel, which means less wear and tear and more cleaning power. When the drain cleaning cable starts to rotate, the centrifugal forces cause the chains to contact the pipe wall, where they quickly and effectively remove deposits. The sturdy chains are available in smooth design or as cam chains (with spikes). Compared to a sanitary version such as those from ROTHENBERGER or ROWO, the chain knocker from rak has a longer overall length as well as longer and hardened chains. In addition, the chain links are curved in such a way that the chain lies evenly against the pipe, the links are not offset from each other. Pipe cleaning workdrain cleaning jobs even more effective, as a larger part of the chain works on the pipe wall. This saves you valuable time! Due to the longer chains you can easily clean pipes with a larger diameter up to 100mm. To keep the 150mm long Drain cleaning tool as flexible as possible, the spring wire between the T-Nut coupling and the head of the tool is wound wide. This results in a higher curve mobility.

The smooth chains are ideal for cast iron and plastic pipes, the cam chains are designed for stoneware and concrete pipes. The sturdy chains are welded to the head and the coupling and have 11 chain links. They can be completely replaced (re-welded), but individual chain links can also be replaced. This guarantees a long service life of the chain knocker. The chains are available from us as spare parts. The chain knockers should always be used only with reinforced drain cleaning cables (S-spirals, S-SMK-spirals).
