The drain cleaning cable with wooden crank is a robust manual drain snake made of galvanized steel. The drill head has a diameter of 40mm, so the ideal working range is 100-150mm. With a diameter of 12mm it is less flexible. At the same time, the drain cleaning cable has sufficient stability to be able to work reliably over a length of 10m and - with extension - continue to work.

The drain cleaning cable is manually driven by the wooden crank. At the end of the drain cleaning cable, there is a 1/2" WW threaded coupling to which a drill head or funnel auger is attached. This drain cleaning tool can be used to bore out pipe blockages. Foreign bodies are pulled into the inside of the funnel. This makes it particularly suitable for blockages caused by paper and other cellulose, textiles, but also leaves and sludge. Furthermore, the tool can be exchanged for the also available three-pronged claw for 12mm drain cleaning cables with 1/2" WW thread.

Please note that work in downpipes and ground pipes should only be carried out with caution and appropriate know-how. In addition, always wear gloves and suitable safety glasses against waste water when working with drain cleaning cables.
