This drain cleaning cable is ideal for removing annoying drain blockages in the bathroom and kitchen in the area behind the siphon. With the available lengths of 3m, 5m and 10m it penetrates sufficiently deep into the pipe. The drain cleaning cable has a 20mm diameter claw at the end (6mm x 3m version: 12mm), which can drill, wind and scrape. In contrast to the shaft with open tip, the drain snake is better suited to loosen blockages in the pipe, e.g. by food residues, which are often glued with grease. The claw at the end of the drain cleaning cable also scrapes at the same time at the pipe migration, so that light deposits caused by soap or greasy oils can be loosened. Hair can also be wrapped up with the drain cleaning cable. With a diameter of 9mm, the drain snake is stable enough to remove even somewhat more stubborn drain blockages over longer distances. Also available is a smaller, more flexible version with only 6mm diameter.

The siphon should always be removed for work with this drain cable, so that the drain cable can be inserted directly into the pipe. After unblocking, the pipe should be flushed thoroughly and sufficiently. If water starts flowing again, it is best to first fill the sink. Then pull the plug so that the pipe is flooded without air.

When working with drain cleaning cables, always wear protective gloves and suitable protective goggles against waste water. If you have already worked with chemical cleaners, this protection is indispensable!
