The drain cleaner made of flat wire is an alternative to the drain cleaning cable. Like the spring, the flat wire with attachment is used for mechanical pipe cleaning. The flat wire is only 0.7mm thick and therefore very flexible. With a width of 6,4mm it is also very stable. The pipe cleaner can be guided through the siphon; if the sewer blockage is located behind the siphon in the pipe, then the siphon should absolutely be dismantled.

The flat wire sits in a practical plastic roll. It is pulled out by hand to the desired length and pushed into the drain. The flat wire is pulled back and forth at the pipe blockage. The spirally wound cone at the end of the flat wire pulls hair out of the pipe and loosely pushes other blockages in the drain. The flat wire is then simply pulled back into the drum magazine by cranking. Use a cloth to slide the flat wire through to clean it directly.
